Job Description
As a QA Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with Canadian GMP and FDA regulations. The position focuses on quality systems and product release decisions across raw materials, components, and finished goods. You’ll also collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve quality practices and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and make timely disposition decisions on materials and products
- Maintain compliance with SOPs, GMP requirements, and regulatory standards
- Update inventory systems with accurate lot statuses
- Support documentation and quality review processes
- Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with production, packaging, and compliance teams
Qualifications
To succeed in this position, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of QA experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or related industry
- Strong knowledge of Health Canada and FDA regulations
- Experience with SAP and TrackWise is an advantage
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
