Sr Medicinal Chemist Job at o2h Discovery Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must be currently based in the UK, USA, or Europe
- Proven international industry experience is mandatory
- Willingness to collaborate closely with India-based discovery teams
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Senior Medicinal Chemist, you will:
- Lead integrated, multi-modality drug discovery projects
- Solve complex synthetic chemistry challenges
- Apply advanced analytical and digital chemistry approaches
- Use modern discovery platforms such as ELNs, cheminformatics & digital workflows
- Collaborate with Biology, ADME/DMPK, and platform sciences
- Mentor scientists to meet global quality and scientific standards
- Represent o2h Discovery in global biotech collaborations
Key Skills Required
- Strong expertise in medicinal & synthetic chemistry
- Excellent route design and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in advanced drug modalities, including:
- ADCs
- Peptides
- Covalent inhibitors
- Targeted Protein Degradation (TPD)
- Practical exposure to HTE, flow chemistry & productivity tools
- Strong scientific communication and leadership skills
- Proven ability to mentor and guide research teams
Qualifications & Experience
- PhD / Post-Doctoral degree from a leading international university
(US / UK / EU preferred) - 5 to 20 years of industrial experience in small-molecule drug discovery
