Join Us in Udaipur as a 1 Chemist (Formulation): Key Responsibilities
- Product Development & Samples: Be responsible for formulation development, preparation of samples, and providing basic data for supervision for smooth functioning of the lab.
- Lab Management: Manage day-to-day lab activities, maintain equipment/instrument, and keep accurate records.
- Strategic Responsibilities:
- Maintain detailed records for trials conducted.
- Provide experimental reports or circulate reports as and when required by the Department head.
- Operational Responsibilities:
- Execute experiments as planned.
- Calculate for execution of experiments.
- Maintain record/observation documentation for production and experiments.
- Ensure equipment upkeep and maintenance.
- Financial Responsibilities:
- Maintain inventory for chemicals, glassware, and equipment.
- Coordinate with the lab/pilot plant/R&D/QC for day-to-day activities.
- Ensure safety practices for personnel and equipment.
Who We’re Looking For: Education & Experience
- Education: B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry (Agrochemical and Pesticides preferred).
- Work Experience: 1 to 3 years relevant experience.
- Industry: Preference for candidates from Agrochemical / Chemical industry.
Functional Competencies
- Familiarity with various formulation types used in agrochemicals (EC, SC, OD, SL, WDG, WP, etc.).
- Good documentation skills.
- Conducting trials in the lab/pilot plant.
- Understanding of chemical and technical techniques with background knowledge of formulation development within the crop protection industry.
Interaction: You will interact daily with internal heads & managers of other departments.
